The Health Edit

Where to start and what to change for women over 40

Written by Susan Hunter
Published by Broadcast Books

Caring for your health has never been more complicated.
The Health Edit makes it simple and effective.

Remember, you're not failing. And you’re not ‘imagining it’. If you've ever walked out of a doctor's surgery with more questions than answers or spiralled through conflicting health advice online, this book is for you.

Instead of trying to fix everything at once, The Health Edit helps you identify the one thing that will make the biggest difference to your health.

Use the checklists covering nine key areas – including sleep, stress, metabolism and mood – to uncover your biggest health bottleneck.

Then choose one evidence-based action with the greatest ripple effect. As you see results, add the next simple step to create lasting change.

Drawing on 20 years of clinical experience, nutritionist and healthcare educator Susan Hunter cuts through the noise to give you a focused path forward.

Practical, evidence-based and designed for women over 40.

About the author

Susan Hunter is an author and health strategist whose work is informed by 20 years of clinical practice. She is the creator of The Health Edit, a health navigation framework that helps women understand what their body needs most and decide where to begin.

Through her writing and speaking, Susan explores the science and culture of women’s health and is advancing a clearer, more confident approach to life after 40. Her work challenges information overload and the belief that midlife decline is inevitable, instead positioning health as a source of capacity, agency and creative power.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She lives in Melbourne with her husband, two teenagers and their dog, Star, and is equally devoted to muscle mass, meaningful travel and beautiful design.

Susan Hunter is available for interviews, talks and workshops.
