If you have questions about writing and publishing, want to workshop ideas for the structure of your book, or plan a publishing strategy, for example, you can book in for a publishing consultation.

Standard Consultation

  • Meet with Bernadette via zoom or in person in her Sydney office for one hour

  • The consultation is tailored to meet your specific needs

  • Bernadette will read up to 1000 words of your manuscript, or the outline and cover letter, prior to the meeting

In the consultation we can discuss such points as:

  • The publishing path to take after you have written your manuscript

  • What to include in a proposal to agents and publishers

  • What to expect from an agent, and from a publisher

  • Publishing independently — the benefits and drawbacks, and how to do it

  • Building your all-important author profile

  • Assessing the market for your book — an essential part of the writing and publishing process

  • Planning or reviewing the structure of your manuscript

  • Other industry professionals who can work with you on the many & varied aspects of your book

  • Industry bodies that might be useful for you.

Cost: $280 +GST
